The Greater Denfeld Foundation’s purpose is to support students of Duluth Denfeld High School by providing awards and scholarships to assist with expenses directly related to post-secondary education. In addition, grants are awarded to staff to provide valuable resources to enhance students’ high school educational experiences.
Each year, the Greater Denfeld Foundation’s Scholarship Committee selects about 50 students for recognition. The majority are awarded four-year renewable scholarships, so at any given time there are about 200 scholars studying with the support of the GDF. The Greater Denfeld Foundation is guided by a group of dedicated volunteers who seek to ensure the work of the foundation is carried out fairly and efficiently. Click on “Board” above to learn more about the board.
The Greater Denfeld Foundation is comprised of about 15 funds created by generous benefactors to recognize the students of Denfeld High School. Some are very specific about whom might be considered, while others are more general. Click on “Funds List” above to explore the various funds.
