contribution policy
GREATER DENFELD FOUNDATION
The Greater Denfeld Foundation was established in 1971 with a goal of raising $250,000 for scholarships for Denfeld students. By 2001, the Foundation had assets of $175,000. That year, Marie Saltwick, a longtime Denfeld science teacher and 1925 graduate, bequeathed $2.7 million to the foundation, funding the first renewable scholarship. In 2006, Mr. Armond Hauge, a 1946 graduate, bequeathed $3.2 million to establish the second renewable scholarship fund. To date, the Greater Denfeld Foundation administers assets of over $8 million, and has awarded more than $8 million* in scholarships to Denfeld students since its inception.
The GDF welcomes contributions of any amount. There are four avenues for giving described below.
