Teacher Donation Application Instructions

Every fall, the Greater Denfeld Foundation Memorial Fund donates funds for teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience for students.

Please see previous year’s awards HERE and THERE, for examples of what has been funded in the past, but new ideas are strongly encouraged. This is for ALL staff and coaches at Denfeld to apply for, because everyone works with our students in different ways.

Keep in Mind

First, for those new to the application, we are using the scholarship application for the teacher donation process and therefore, teacher and staff applicants will first need to create a profile. In that process, teachers may run across several ‘strange’ questions (date of birth, gender, lunch status etc.) which make sense for student applicants, but less so for teachers and staff. Please understand they are just un-erasable ‘holdovers’ from the other system and push through the profile creation and onto the main donation application. For those who have already used the system, you should be able to log in as a user without creating a new profile.

Secondly, since we don’t want students to submit a Teacher and Staff Grant application, we’ve put the application behind an Access Code. After a profile has been created, there will be an Apply page with an Access Code field in the upper right corner. The code was included in the All Staff email sent by Principal Tusken. After you’ve entered that, click the blue Apply button, and the application should be very straightforward.

The deadline is October 1 this year with donation award funds available hopefully in late October.
